The Stiffkey Cockle Sailing Club is a single class sailing club based around the Stiffkey Cockle boat.  This is a 15ft 2in clinker styled GRP sailing dingy produced by Stiffkey Marine. It has a gunter rigged mainsail and a furling jib, it can be sailed single handed, or with up to five adults in it.  It takes an outboard engine.

The largest fleet of Cockles is at Morston in North Norfolk. There is also a small fleet further along the Norfolk coast based at Brancaster Sailing Club.  The club has both racing and non-racing members.  There are about 70 members of which 40 are racing members.  During the racing season some 26 races are available.  There are series races (main, evening, and midweek) as well as individual one off races.  The ethos of the club is for competitive but friendly racing.

We have an active social program with 8 events throughout the year.  Two social events are during the winter months.  The club welcomes racing and non-racing members and indeed anyone wishing to sail a Stiffkey Cockle (boat not obligatory) as well as simply social members.  Our unofficial clubhouse is the Morston Anchor Pub.

Membership is currently £12 for non-racing members and £37 for racing members.
